The Aro-Okigbo United Club of Arondizuogu (AOUCA) was formed  on May 1, 2020, by Mazi Charlesmoore Okafor, Mazi Jerome Nwankwo, Mazi Thompson Okereke, and Mazi Obioma Nwankwo. The club was formed in response to the death of our son of blessed memory who passed away and was buried in Ukraine in 2020. The founders aimed to create an organization that would address the welfare of Arondizuogu  living in the diaspora and contribute to the development of the Arondizuogu clan.
On 18th of May 2020 the club was officially named  Aro-Okigbo United club of Arondizuogu .On December 16, 2020, the Aro-Okigbo United Club of Arondizuogu (AOUCA) was officially registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission Nigeria and established a Board of Trustees. With the official Correspondence to the Palace  of HRH Eze Oliver Dike (Eze Ozuomba ) Awa Izuogu Arondizuogu Ideato North LGA.
The club was inaugurated on 9th April 2021, with Mazi Charles Moore Okafor serving as the pioneer President. The inauguration ceremony was attended by esteemed individuals from Arondizuogu, including prominent figures from various fields.

The Aro-Okigbo United Club of Arondizuogu has its headquarters located in Ndiakeme and is affiliated with the Arondizuogu Patriotic Union (APU), which serves as the parent body of the Arondizuogu clan.

Membership of Aro-Okigbo United Club of Arondizuogu is open to individuals of Arondizuogu origin who wish to connect with their roots, contribute to the welfare of their community, and actively participate in the development of the Arondizuogu clan.

Since its establishment, the AOUCA has achieved significant milestones. These include organizing a football tournament with a prize of 2 million Naira in December 2021 to promote unity in the town, conducting its first official general elections in April 2022, contributing financially to the APU National Secretariat Building Project, and acquired six plots of land for its Proposed International building material complex located at Oji Abo T -junction of Arondizuogu -Okigwe Road.

Financially, the club has maintained a strong liquidity ratio and continues to grow with its membership.    
Aro-Okigbo United Club of Arondizuogu (AOUCA) with  Peace and Progress as its motto,focuses on addressing the welfare of individuals from Arondizuogu living in the diaspora and contributing to the development of the Arondizuogu clan. Moreso,with its registration, inauguration, and its affiliation with the Arondizuogu Patriotic Union, AOUCA provides a creditable platform for individuals of Arondizuogu origin to come together, support one another, and work towards the progress of our community.
